Our speaker for the evening will be Jeff Awalt, Executive Editor of Pipeline & Gas Journal. A former newspaper reporter and Associated Press energy writer, Jeff has more than 30 years of journalism and communications experience. He first moved to Houston from the AP’s Dallas bureau in 1987 to lead regional coverage of the oil and gas industry. In addition to his background in journalism, Jeff has extensive corporate and consulting experience in crisis communications, media relations and reputation management for companies throughout the energy industry, including Transocean, Mitchell Energy, BHP Billiton, Landmark Graphics and Vestas. As Senior Managing Director at international public affairs agency Hill and Knowlton, Jeff advised management of pipeline operators, natural gas utilities and other companies on public responses to prominent incidents. Jeff is a native of Fairfield, Texas, and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Menu - Dinner this month will be a Mexican theme with dessert and choice of beverage. If you have special dietary needs, please include your request with the reservation. Dinners are $35, mixed drinks/wine $7, beer $4, and soda $3.
Reservations – Please RSVP and register online no later than Wednesday, April 11th at 5pm. Along with your reservation please include any guests that you may bring. If your plans change please communicate and cancel your reservation by 9 AM the day of the meeting or you will be invoiced for meals not canceled.

All new memberships and renewals will be handled on the website. As a member/prospective member you are helping the club volunteers GREATLY by using this website and log-in. We have spent countless hours developing this website to be the easiest of use for you as a club member.

Once you click the link, follow the prompts, put in a valid mailing address, valid email address, and create a password and please keep your password somewhere so you won’t forget or lose it.
Pay your $40.00 for your membership that will go from the date you join until June 1, 2018.
All members will be required to do their dinner RSVP on the website, join as a member, renew memberships, pay for Golf or Shoot sponsorship, etc. This will allow us to track your attendance, track your membership, and assure that all your information is correct when being input into the database for our yearly directory.
