The Pipe Liners’ Club of Tulsa’s Pipeline College classes continue! This class is FREE of charge and will be held on Tuesday October 9th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at EnviroCal Inc, 7290 New Sapulpa Road, Tulsa OK.
EnviroCal will be partnering with TPE Midstream and Paxon Energy Services to demo and explain the basics of pig launching and receiving methods. Topics of discussion will include:
Necessary equipment for pigging operations
Critical variables for consideration when running pigs on and offline
Standard launch / receive methods
Geometric survey for inline Inspection
We will have test pipe rigged for an actual launch and receiver sequence along with a series of pigs (cleaning and ILI) present for a discussion regarding integrity management.
This class is for everybody, including pipe liners, fabricators, welders, and especially engineers and draftsmen who are not knowledgeable in pipe fabrication. In addition to a hands-on lesson, Professional Engineers will receive a PDH.
